Sickness, vacationing and alternative commitments decimated Prospect Club’s representation at Gawler for the second round of the 2011-2012 SAPL Interclub competition. However, the Club’s new President and sole remaining representative from the first round’s successful team, Richard Voskamp, gathered together Dave Ward and Brett Williams to form a team that once again “did the business”. With a perfect 10/10 games won after two rounds, the burning question is “Can he do it again?”
The answer comes from that other President… “Yes he can!”

Prospect Club pétanque player John Weeks returned, after a long absence from pétanque, with a stunning performance to finish runner-up in the ‘Louis Oltarczy Cup’ at the Adelaide Club on a wet Sunday 10 April. Arriving without a playing partner John was paired with ‘National Pétanque Veteran’ Judith Brown. Playing as if he were a winner, he nearly did... reaching 10 points and looking the goods. John and Judith were pipped at the post by another new player Richard Murphy and the head-smart Phil Pollard.
